The foalhood that could have been - The foals

Okay before anyone asks the title, let me explain; A few days ago I came up with the idea of putting the XIII gang in this alternate universe where they lived in Equestria, spending their lives alongside the mane 6 and their families. I haven't really figured the whole thing out yet, but all I know is that Crystal and Sweetheart (Can't think of a better name for Serah's doppleganger) are Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor's seconds cousins from their mother's side of the family, Airjet is a friend of Rarity's father and is sort of like her godfather, and Snowshoe is an orphan living in the streets of manehatten.

One thing I don't like is that when FFXIII fans try their take on what Lightning was like as a child, they view as her as a loud, really rambunctious and even violet little girl with temper problems. I really don't think her additude we see her portray in her adult years was simply from her true personality, I'm at least fairly certain it came from the traumatizng experiences she faced from becoming an orphan and forcing to grow up, building up their hard exterior all for the sake of "being strong" so she can protect her sister.

Instead, I like to think that Claire was a really sweet and fun loving girl, being BBFs with her baby sister (And with Twilight in this universe)

And why did I make Snow look so emo? To be honest I wanted to show some growth in him, knowing like how the Farron sisters had been, he's an orphan as well. It was never explained on rather he was put into the orphanage as a little baby and had spent his childhood there with no memories like his parents, or if he actually did know whoever raised him before before the tragedy. Since I don't think that's ever going to be confirmed in canon, I will go with my headcanon that he does remember living with his mother in his earliest memory, before losing her. He then starts out as this miserable little boy who just kind of wanders in the streets of Manehatten, homeless, until he learns that he has the power to protect the helpless, thus inspiring him to become the hero he constantly claims to be.

Still need to figure out what to do with Midnight, Vanilla, and Star...
